Not only is Mutt Strut the largest pet walk in the region, it’s our biggest fundraiser, and that also means there is a lot of work to be done. If you’d rather help us host the event than walk, we have a place for you!
Volunteers can help in a number of ways, before, during and after the event.
Even better, you’ll get a special t-shirt that recognizes you as a Mutt Strut volunteer! Volunteers also receive a complimentary registration (non-transferable) to the event and the opportunity to win raffle prizes just for helping out. You must be 18 or older to volunteer at this event. If you’re volunteering, you may not bring your pet or children.
You must attend a volunteer orientation that will take place at IndyHumane in April. Orientation is hosted on Saturday, April 13, from 10:00-11:00am, or Tuesday, April 16, from 7:00-8:00pm. You will select your orientation dates upon registering to volunteer with us.
