Champ is a Golden Retriever mix originally brought to the shelter when his family could no longer afford to care for him. Having always been an outdoors dog and never socialized or given obedience training he was very scared after he arrived at the shelter. Champ kept to the back of his kennel but one young woman came in and instantly fell in love with the frightened dog. She returned with her husband the next day and they adopted Champ and took him home to live indoors as part of their family. Now he spends his free days playing with balls and cuddling with his family.
